Project Proposals

The goal of the project proposal is to display the current state of investigation into a potential senior research project. Below is a list of the criteria required for the proposal. Proposals will be given in both written and presentation formats.

Preliminary Proposals - Sept 18/19

Project Title:
This should provide reader a clue what to expect in the following paragraphs

Description of Problem/Issue:
Provide background information on the significance of the research; status of existing R&D efforts; application potential, etc…

Goals and Objectives:
Provide specific (and quantitative) performance goals and objectives of the proposed project. This is important as specific goals and objectives would tell originally what to expect to accomplish by funding this project.

Approach:
A description of the proposed approach to accomplish stated performance goals and objectives.

Project duration:
Estimated timeline to complete the project

Recommended Funding:
Estimated costs to complete the project (preferably with breakdowns) and potential sources of support
